William is a Master’s of Engineering candidate in computer science at MIT and a recent graduate of MIT in computer science and engineering.

William’s research is focused on understanding how we make perceptual decisions under uncertainty. He is currently developing new behavioral paradigms for mice as part of the Harvard School of Mouse Behavior Suite. During his master’s program, he intends to record and manipulate genetically-defined populations of neurons as animals complete his task with a combination of optogenetics, electrophysiology and photometry.
