This study is now accepting participants between October 21-November 21, 2025

This study is currently being conducted through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The purpose is to understand how we make decisions under uncertainty. You will play a simple game for about 30 minutes similar to those played by mice in our research studies. You will play the game at the Whitehead Institute (455 Main Street, Cambridge, MA, 02142). To participate, you must be 18 years of age or older. Participation in the study is voluntary and uncompensated. Your identity as a participant will remain anonymous during and after the study.

(retired) Game #1: Bingo the Mouse challenges you! (virtual)

The study was conducted through Harvard Medical School. The goal was to understand how we make decisions under uncertainty. Subjects played video games for about 20 minutes that were similar to those played by mice in our research studies. Subjects played the games on the internet (a desktop computer or laptop was required to play). To participate, subjects had to be 18 years of age or older. Participation in the study was voluntary and uncompensated. Subjects’ identities as a participant remained anonymous during and after the study.
